How we work
BORDER offers a full suite of services across a variety of project types including commercial, mixed-use urban infill, hospitality, education / institutional, and nonprofits. We approach each project with a collaborative, hands on process throughout design and documentation to maintain the highest level of service and quality control.
Our process
Our process is deeply personal. We practice with a sense of joy and aspire to celebrate the romance of the modern garden with a practiced restraint and focus on the intrinsic beauty in building materials and nature.
Driven by curiosity, BORDER considers contextual conditions, in addition to client and community objectives, to develop a strong vision for each site that embraces all elements of a project’s influences and lifestyle.
We use the latest technology in addition to tried-and-true sketching techniques and storytelling to communicate a project vision. This ability to marry effective narratives with compelling visuals results in excellent client and community engagement.
Building relationships
Our experience, passion, and commitment has created strong, long-lasting relationships with collaborators, clients, and communities.
