A “Look at me” attitude was created by the design team to tap into the artistic, creative NoHo Arts District community, including dynamic paving patterns, colorful pottery, and plant combinations contrasting the restrained architectural palette and unifying multi-level open spaces.

A bold design approach and efficient material selections provide a unique identity and attitude to match its location and creative residents.

Located on a high traffic, urban intersection of Chandler and Lankershim, Duane Border, leading the project for Duane Border Design (a BMLA Company), utilized every inch of available open space to create a vibrant and energetic landscape design on the pool deck and roof top courtyards.

The pool deck is an open air extension of the amenity lounge overlooking Magnolia Park that vibrates with color and pattern playing off of the vertical architectural massing to give a hint of the playful, boutique lifestyle of the development from the street level. 

At the roof level residents and visitors enjoy skyline views of the Hollywood Hills to the south and Verdugo Mountains to the east. Intimate rooftop courts with an outdoor kitchen, movie screening wall and inviting, comfortable seating throughout provide personal workspaces and areas for social gatherings.
